Our Staff

We have dedicated teachers and office staff at the Butterfly Learning Center. Below is each of our office staff along with their responsibilities and their schooling requirements for their position.
Miss Maggie

Director

A director is responsible for the general management of the facility, including the following minimum duties:

Administering finances, personnel, maintenance, meal planning and preparation, and transportation. Administering the facility’s program objectives and activities. Designating a staff person who is responsible for compliance with this chapter in the Director’s absence. Coordinating and planning daily activities with the group supervisors or with the assistant group supervisors in the school-age program. Overall program planning. Written evaluation of staff persons on a regular basis, a minimum of one evaluation every 12 months.

 

A director shall have attained: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children. 

Ms. "C"

Group Supervisor

A group supervisor is responsible for the following minimum duties:

Planning and implementing daily program activities. Coordinating activities of assistant group supervisors and aides. Assisting the director with designated activities. doing all online business and taking care of the business when the director is not available. 

 

 

A group supervisor shall have attained one of the following qualification levels: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.

Ms. Tanya 

Secretary 

A secretary is responsible for the following minimum duties:

 Maintaining all of the children’s and staff files. Making sure all records are up to date. The secretary also helps with assisting in the implementation of daily activities under the guidance of the group supervisor. Coordinating daily activities and supervising aides in the absence of the group supervisor.

 

 

A secretary shall have attained one of the following qualification levels: A general educational development certificate and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.

Monday-Friday: 5:00 am-11:45 pm

Saturday: 6:00 am-9:45 pm
